I had a really good time shooting with Katie and Sean yesterday.  Katie I've met before and talked with, as she's asked me to shoot their wedding next May.  But Sean I met for the first time yesterday.  But it was really cool to hang-out with them a little bit.  You know how sometimes it's a little awkward at first meeting with someone?  Not them.  It just felt so natural (cue cheesy commercial background music here...).  :)

So anyway, we met out at the beautiful Ceja Vineyards in Napa, which ended up being pretty much perfect.  There were a few new buildings, some old buildings, perfect little rows of grape vines in different varieties, bocci courts, worms in the dirt, beautiful leave colors, perfect weather, sunset, love in the air,  Zeus' face, birds chirping, cupids flying overhead...  just an ideal setting for an e-session shoot.  Katie and Sean were extremely gracious and indulgent, laughing at my lame jokes and at me getting pointy rocks stabbing in my backside.  We trekked all through the vineyard, over and back and around.  But they didn't complain at all.  Katie was really into it - at one point she was wanting to hold a canoe filled with ants over her head, and Sean had to tackle her to keep her away from it.... jk
